What to do: Call the Rapid Response Network (RRN) 408-290-1144 (add to your contacts) for trained legal observers to be dispatched in real time. If you're a US citizen and it is safe to do so, calmly approach, ask person being detained for their name & a family member's phone #, Call RRN and share information
What not to do: Do not post photos or videos of ICE activity on social media w/out context - incomplete or unverified info can spread fear and misinformation

Our messages this week will be JUSTICE FOR RENEE and ICE OUT OF EVERYWHERE, in reference to Renee Nicole Good, who was tragically murdered by ICE during an operation in Minneapolis on Wednesday, Jan 7.

Funding for DHS ran out on February 13, triggering a partial government shutdown. Republicans had a choice between supporting massively popular, desperately needed restrictions on ICE and Border Patrol or shutting down DHS, they chose to shut down DHS.
