Some snippets useful for your communication about the Recall
A Republican Governor taking over our state would be a disaster not just for the state but for our country. They would be able to appoint Republicans to open positions and can ask for the resignation of political appointees in state government. If more than 50% of voters say "yes" to the first question, the candidate who gets the most votes on the 2nd question will become governor, even if they win with only a small fraction of the vote.
Sadly, none of the recall candidates is a suitable replacement. Remember, writing in Newsom is not an option. You can choose to vote for a candidate on the second question but let's focus on voting NO on question 1 so that we keep Gov Newsom in office.
