We will hear excerpts of a presentation by Ian Haney López, a law professor at UC Berkeley who studies racism with a focus on the use of racism as a class weapon in electoral politics. He shared it with Indivisible, so we can identify dog whistle politics and respond to it with the race / class narrative he developed along with Anat Shenker-Osorio and Heather McGhee.
