To celebrate Nelson Mandela International Day and to promote his values of inclusion, equity, transformative action and unity throughout the diverse communities of Los Gatos, San Jose and Santa Clara County, AWỌ is pleased to present this three-day FREE drumming exchange bringing together the often unheard voices from local communities to unpack the different shades of our shared HUEmanity. 

Our HUEmanity Salons Series aims to create more inclusive and representative social narratives. Sponsored by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, Addison-Penzak JCC Los Gatos, NUMU, San Jose State University, and funded in part by Sereno, Los Gatos Community Foundation, Presbyterian Church of Los Gatos and the Presbytery of San Jose, AWỌ’s HUEmanity Salons Series is designed for all these stories to be heard so as to create more kind and inclusive local communities. 

On Saturday July 16 (12-7pm) AWỌ invites the public to attend FREE, our first, in this three-part HUEmanity Salon series.
